2017 Fairfax County Lifeguard Games
Every year various teams from REC centers and water parks around Fairfax County assemble and compete in the "Lifeguard Games", a competition with several Lifeguarding related events. From in water spinal stabilizations to on site burn treatment, participants are scored on their water emergency response skills. Friendly competition, exciting races, and a competitive atmosphere bring together the Fairfax Lifeguard community through the common denominator of doing what they do best: keeping their patrons safe, their pools fun, and doing it with a smile.
